Adding a Card to Apple Wallet
To use Apple Pay, you first need to add a debit or credit card to your Apple Wallet.
Using the Extraordinary App
- Install the Extraordinary App from the Apple App Store
- Sign in to the App using your Extraordinary account credentials
- Select Card then Add to Apple Wallet button
- Follow the prompts to verify your card (this may include receiving a verification code via text or email).
- Once verified, your card will be added to Apple Wallet and ready for use.
On iPhone
- Open the Wallet app.
- Tap the + button in the upper right corner.
- Select Debit or Credit Card.
- Scan your card using your iPhone’s camera or enter the card details manually.
- Follow the prompts to verify your card (this may include receiving a verification code via text or email).
- Once verified, your card will be added to Apple Wallet and ready for use.
On Apple Watch
- Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
- Tap Wallet & Apple Pay.
- Tap Add Card and follow the instructions to add your debit or credit card.
- Complete verification if required.
- Your card will now be available for use on your Apple Watch.
On iPad or Mac
- Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay (on iPad) or System Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay (on Mac).
- Tap Add Card and follow the instructions.

Using Apple Pay at a Terminal

On iPhone with Face ID
- Double-click the side button.
- Authenticate with Face ID or enter your passcode.
- Hold the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader until you see Done and a checkmark on the screen
On iPhone with Touch ID
- Rest your finger on Touch ID.
- Hold the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader.
- When you see Done and a checkmark, your payment is complete.
On Apple Watch
- Double-click the side button.
- Hold the watch display near the contactless reader.
- Wait for a gentle tap and beep, confirming the payment.
Where Can You Use Apple Pay?
Apple Pay is accepted at millions of locations worldwide, including:
- Retail stores with contactless payment terminals
- Online stores and apps that support Apple Pay
