By building a strategy within the ‘wants’ bucket that focuses on health and wellbeing, over more generic cash or entertainment centred benefits delivers more value to the organisation along the lines of the ‘musts’ and ‘needs’ above. Instead of a pre loaded cash card that can be used for alcohol, gambling or firearms. Why not deliver a cash allowance that can be used almost anywhere, but not in those sectors that don’t align with company values such as the above alcohol, gambling and firearms?
